Uplifting Worship

When you meet with us for worship, you're in the care of devoted leaders and officers that care about your faith. God has given us different gifts to use, and we use these talents to help others and enhance your worship experience. Greeters will help you feel like you're part of the family and encourage you to keep returning to our church. Our ushers can direct you to comfortable seating, lend spiritual dignity to worship services, and lead members to appropriate church decorum so you can benefit from the sermons and activities in peace. We even provide limited medical treatment to Franklin St.-John's members and guests through our nurse's ministry. They also assist the pastor to ensure that everyone's physical safety and well-being while in the church facility.

Woman with Elderly Member

A Place for Everyone

Elderly members also have a role in our ministry. We cherish the life experiences and testimonies of senior men and women. Our Seasoned Saints promote discipleship, fellowship, worship, and service among the older men and women of Franklin-St. John's United Methodist Church through meaningful activities and events.

Teaching a Christ-Like Lifestyle

As it is written in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." This proverb of encouragement inspires us to lead men to exalt Jesus Christ through our United Methodist Men group. This fellowship teaches the men among our flock to develop Christ-like maturity, become equipped for ministry in the church, and strengthens their mission in the world to glorify God. We also have a group for women in our United Methodist Women organization. Our group ministries also provide information from God's Word on the principles of building strong marriages and families.
